NEC developed FastID as a lightweight client application that can pair with many wired or wireless scanning devices. FastID satisfies identification requirements for both fixed locations (booking and release) and mobile identification in the field through installation on mobile data computers (MDC).
Consisting of a PC, a fingerprint scanner capable of scanning from one to four images at a time, and FastID client software, FastID is a turnkey solution that provides fingerprint identification where immediate response is required. Built on open architecture, FastID can seamlessly integrate with the Integra-ID MBIS solution or function as a standalone system to provide fingerprint identification services. The FastID client software includes modules for fingerprint image capture, quality check, and fingerprint template extraction.
Highly scalable and customisable, delivering immediate results.
