NEC talks about creating value - creating friendships, creating joy, creating intelligence; it's all about creation. To showcase this, NEC has recorded a series of Mini-Podcasts, dubbed 'Podlets', to share people's experiences with creating value with everyone.

Back in April 2018, Dylan Alcott AO, launched Ability Fest. Designed to be a fully inclusive music festival for the disability and able community, this music festival was designed and set up like no other. Around 5,000 people attended, purpose built raised stages gave everyone the opportunity to see and groove out to their favourite live artist.

During 2022's Ability fest, NEC set up a ‘Podlet’ area, capturing Mini-Podcasts with a range of talent who performed and supported during the festival, giving you a real and raw ‘behind the scenes’ insight to Ability Fest.

The NEC Creating Value Podlet series is hosted by 3 Aussie music gurus - NEC Ambassador Dylan Alcott AO, Angus O’Loughlin (ListenAble podcast host & Austereo presenter) and legendary triple j and Australian Music guru Linda Marigliano.

The Creating Value Podlet Series was continued with recordings at Sound West Sydney in August 2022, hosted in Parramatta by Dylan Alcott. Featuring a wide range of guests, topics range from the importance of Western Sydney to maintaining mental health and how everyone creates value.
