David Borean

Vice President - Chief Operating Officer

David Borean joined NEC in 2018 as Head of Marketing, Communications, and Government Relations before transitioning to lead the Business Transformation Office in 2023. In October 2024, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for overseeing and optimising NEC Australia’s operational landscape.

As COO, David is accountable for leading, planning, and managing operations across the company, with a focus on driving efficiency and aligning activities with NEC Australia's strategic objectives. His role encompasses oversight of business strategy and the management of key operational processes across several critical areas, including the Transformation Office, Sales Operations, Corporate Operations, Procurement, and the Bid Management Office. He works closely with the executive team to enhance performance, foster growth, and ensure both financial and non-financial goals are met.
